I have one of these rods built and ready to be shipped. The rods have different color schemes and look totally different. Otherwise they are almost the same. I was asked to design a husband and wife rod and this is what I came up with. The more colorful looking fishing rod is about three inches shorter than the other. The python skin fishing rods are totally awesome. I laminate real snake skin directly to the blank and then create a diamond wrap layer above it also made with snake skin. The grips will not slip out of your hands. This is an extremely labor intensive rod to build. You can not find this anywhere. I am extremely well known and have made hundreds of custom rods in the past. Demand is high for the fishing rods that I build. The fishing rods I build are custom built just the way you like its. These fishing rods are meant to be fished with. Unfortunately many of the rods I have build in the past are hanging up on customer's walls and are kept as trophies. Do not worry. Use the fishing rod. Scratch it up all you need to. I can restore any fishing rod to brand new at any later date assuming the rod is not broken or damaged in any other way. The pictures are for reference only if you decide you want a custom built fishing rod built. The fishing rod in the picture is made with Real Snake Skin Grips. The Grips are totally awesome. I have alligator skin, stingray skin, shark skin, cow leather, ostrich skin, rattlesnake skin, crocodile skin and a whole plethora of materials available to me to make your grips. I have the experience to make them. The Blank used for the fishing rod in the picture is a North Fork Composite Blank made by Gary Loomis. I believe that these are one of the best blanks available for these rods. However, I will build with any blank you like. If the blank you choose is more expensive, you have to pay the difference in the cost. The reel seats and butt caps are all part of the machined aluminum reel seats made by ALPS. You may have any make and style of reel seat that you like. Alsps Real Seats are absolutely solid. The length of the front grip, rear grip and the fishing rod itself will built just the way you like it. You may have any custom design that you like. The guides are the hig quality Fuji Ring Guides. I have never seen one fail. You may have any brand and style guide that you like as long as you pay the difference in the cost. This listing is for your custom built fishing rod.
